Craig began training Thai Boxing in 1990 under Grand Master Sken with senior Instructor Sandy Holt at the highly successful Bolton Thai Boxing Club. After 2 years Sandy Holt along side with Craig Brown formed the Wigan Thai Boxing Club and Sandy was Craigs Inspiration with the watchful eye of Master Sken. Craig at this time was still training at the Bolton Thai Boxing club as well at Master Skens headquarters in Stockport. Craig developed in Thai Boxing by training along side people like Darren Phillips, Trevor Hine, John Taylor, Phil Nurse and many more great fighters and instructors who where all at British and European Levels.

 

Craig competed and shared the ring with fighters like Martin Davies, Peter Davies, Lee Smith who sadly passed away in a road accident of which Craig supports every year to the Lee Smith Memorial Thai Boxing show. Craig began to teach after three years and was a very active instructor at Wigan and Bolton Thai Boxing Club. Craig Developed is knowledge in Thai Boxing by taking all the grades in Muay Thai from white up to his present grade Red White &Yellow Armband.( Red being black belt equivalent) and in some Grades gaining the Highest Grading Records across the SIMTA ( Sitnarong International Muay Thai Association). Every Grade was taken under Master Sken and Sandy Holt who to this day are still running very successful Thai Boxing Schools and who Craig will always Honour and Respect for what they have given to him. Craig has run the Wigan Thai Boxing Club solely on his own along side his team of qualified instructors and Champions for the past 10 years and as gone from strength to strength.
